Monel Woven Mesh with Excellent Pitting & Crevice Resistance

Monel woven mesh is a kind of woven mesh made of monel wires with 52%–67% nickel, copper and small amounts of iron, manganese, carbon and silicon elements. It has excellent corrosion resistance and is widely used in marine industry piping systems, filter baskets, chemical processing facilities, heat exchangers, etc.

According to different chemical elements, monel alloy is divided into monel 400 and monel K500. Monel 400 has high strength, great corrosion resistance, excellent ductility and thermal conductivity in acid and alkali environments. Besides, it also works well in reducing environments and is often used in marine engineering, chemical and hydrocarbon processing, heat exchangers, valves and pumps; Monel K500 works well in acid gas environments. In addition, it is added with aluminum and titanium elements in manufacturing to make monel K500 have better corrosion resistance and higher strength than monel 400, and is widely used in pump shafts, impellers, scrapers, electronic components, etc.
