Aluminum Woven Mesh – 1350, 5052, 5056 & 6061

Aluminum woven mesh is a wire mesh made of silver white aluminum wires. Specific properties such as strength, flexibility, corrosion resistance, load bearing capacity are achieved by using different wire diameters and weave types. Aluminum woven mesh features lightweight, high temperature resistant and corrosion resistant and is often used in the production of sophisticated equipment, automobiles, aircraft and food fields.

The chemical composition of aluminum is mainly composed of silicon, magnesium, zinc and other alloys. According to the different chemical compositions, it is divided into aluminum 1350, aluminum 5052, aluminum 5056 and aluminum 6061. Aluminum 1350 offers great corrosion resistance, even in extremely corrosive environments; Aluminum 5052 is added with magnesium and chromium elements to further enhance its superior corrosion resistance; Aluminum 5056 can increase its strength via cold working; Aluminum 6061 is added with magnesium and silicon to enhance its general-use versatility. Besides, it can be strengthened by heat treatment.
