Nichrome Woven Mesh – An Ideal Material for Electric Appliance Industry

Nichrome woven mesh is woven from a silver gray, non-magnetic nichrome alloy wires. It has outstanding ductility, high tensile strength, good oxidization resistance and sulfur resistance. It has a wide range of applications including aerospace, shipbuilding, military projects and chemical industries.

According to the different chemical compositions, nichrome is often divided into Cr20Ni80, Cr15Ni60 and Cr20Ni35. Nichrome Cr20Ni80 is widely used in electric furnaces, radiant heaters and other electrical industries; Nichrome Cr15Ni60 is suitable for electrical heating, industrial resistance units, acid dipping baskets, filter cloth, etc; Nichrome Cr20Ni35 is suitable for being used in sulfur, lead or zinc contaminated atmospheres.
